We host Recycle Jungle workshops for you to recycle your own used object into a new plant pot. We begin preparing your object by cleaning it up and decorating. The decorating is optional! Some objects look great in their original state. We then share information on basic planting techniques and tips, guiding you through the process and answering any questions you may have. At the end you should be able to bring home a brand new plant (or a few)!
We provide:
- Guidance on how to transform your object into a new plant holder
- Art materials to decorate your object: paint, markers, strings
- Tools for planting
- Soil
- Drainage rocks
- Plant propagations
- Seeds
If you have your own plant or propagation you would like to bring, we encourage it! If not, we can provide small plants or seeds for you. At the end of the workshop, we encourage each participant to select an object other than the one they brought to take home with them. This way we hope to encourage the community exchange.
